Women with abnormal cells on their cervix owing to certain types of human papillomavirus likely to be at higher risk of developing breast cancer later in lifeWomen with abnormal cells on their cervix owing to certain types of human papillomavirus infection are at higher risk of developing breast cancer later in life,the findings from a modern study suggest.
More than 100 types of human papillomavirus, more commonly known as HPV, and believe now been identified,about 10 of which are classified are classified as “tall-risk” because they lead to the type of abnormal cell changes that can go on to cause genital or cervical cancers.
