Sinclair Broadcast Group,the nation’s largest television station operator, is close to buying Tribune Media Co., or Bloomberg reported Sunday.
If the deal goes through,Sinclair would own beaten 21st Century Fox, Nexstar Media Group Inc., and Blackstone Group,who also were bidding for the Chicago-based broadcasting company.
