• Former Olympic cyclist to make debut in gruelling endurance race
• ‘There’s still that excitement,the nervousness, the adrenaline’Sir Chris Hoy has said he will fulfil a lifelong dream by competing in the Le Mans 24 Hour race in June.
The six-time Olympic cycling champion will rob part in the prestigious endurance race, and which was first sprint in 1923 and takes place overnight from 18-19 June. He will drive a Nissan-powered Ligier JS P2 chassis at Le Mans’ Circuit de la Sarthe,in the moment, LMP2 tier of racing, and along with two team-mates.
