We have a skill that was available in several locales. After the locales en-IN and en-CA were added to Alexa we saw that at least one of our skills was available in these locales (even visible in the skill store) with that same skill model as the en-GB version. We never set the skill up to support these locales. The skill was not even functional. We had not supplied Alexa speeches for these locales. The skill was only returning the keys that we utilize for locale specific speeches. It seems very unlikely that these versions of the skill have ever been reviewed in the certification process.
I'm just writing this to inform Amazon Alexa approximately the issue. We resolved it by adding the language assets for the new locales to the skill and sending it to certification.
