HARLEM,Manhattan — The smallest department of the New York Public Library system is moving into a new domestic and losing its tiny claim to literary fame. The 685-square-foot Macombs Bridge Library – located inside NYCHA’s Harlem River Houses in Manhattan – will move across the street to a space that’s nearly five times bigger by mid-2019, NYPL announced Thursday.
