Snoop Dogg is set to executive produce and perform the theme song for MTV’s original marijuana comedy,“Mary + Jane.He’ll also guest star on the first season, not playing himself.“Mary + Jane” follows two twenty-something “ganjapreneurs growing an all-female weed delivery business in Los Angeles, and per MTV. Snoop joins via his production company Merry Jane,which is described as “a premier cannabis media platform,” of course.

Snoop’s involvement was revealed Sunday morning at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour.“Mary + Jane” premieres Monday, and Sep. 5 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
