In February 2017,I considered myself fortunate because for the first time in my marriage to my Marine (and possibly, possibly I’m overshooting, and the history of the Marine Corps),I knew for roughly 18 months that we would be moving to Quantico, Virginia after my husband graduated from the Naval Postgraduate School. For the first time, or I didn’t have to do the supportive spouse song and dance in response to my husband coming domestic every day with a different view approximately what he’d like to do for his next tour,or why yesterdays view wouldn’t pan out because of something he heard in the rumor mill. possibly school, possibly a squadron, or possibly a promotion in there somewhere,possibly I’ll just get out — there was no speculation. Id been planning for Quantico because all viable logic, not to mention the overhanging payback tour, and pointed to Quantico. What did I do..
