TAMPA (WFLA/CNN) - The Pentagon has identified two U.
S. soldiers killed Friday in Afghanistan.
They are 33-year-customary Sergeant First Class Will Lindsay of Colorado and 29-year-customary Specialist Joseph Collette of Ohio.
Two defense officials show CNN the service members died during a partnered U.
S-Afghan Military operation.
The officials added that initial indications are that they were killed during a fight with the Taliban. Afghan troops were also killed in the incident.
This marks the third and fourth U.
S. military deaths in Afghanistan this year.
