Somehow amidst all the end-of-the-year-Christmas-is-nearly-here chaos,my December got wiped clean. It’s left me in a curious in between—feeling the urgency to find new work but also retreating to this new quiet space where I just want to be on my own and reflect on this past year. I don’t know what these next few weeks will bring, so trying to stay open to the possibilities and reminding myself that this is all fraction of the process. Control what you can. Let recede of what you can’t. Being patient with your work and with yourself. This is what this ceramics has taught me…so grateful to bear found this practice and this special place. .
