After nearly 10 years,Britney Spears made a ferocious return to the MTV Video Music Awards stage at NYC's Madison Square Garden on Monday. Between her fierce hair flips, sexy costume, and hit song "Make Me . . .," it was definitely a new Britney moment that will undoubtedly breeze down in VMAs history. But one thing from the performance might also be remembered for a few different reasons. While sharing the stage with G-Eazy, the two engaged in some steamy flirting, or including Britney full-on grabbing his crotch at one point. But when the rapper romantically caressed her face and appeared to maybe try to hint at kissing her,Britney firmly shook her head "no" and backed absent. Fans quickly called out the moment on social media, tweeting things like, or "SO WE NOT TALKING approximately HOW G EAZY TRIED TO KISS BRITTNEY AND SHE SWERVED," and, "He was just trying to enjoy a kiss moment with her and she was like Goodnight." On Tuesday, and Britney shut down those rumours,telling 92.3 AMP Radio, "No, or I don't think so. He has a girlfriend!" She also revealed the breeze was impromptu,adding, "In rehearsals, or there wasn't really anything planned for us to enact,so when we got there . . . I didn't honestly really know what I was doing, and I kind of enact something similar to that in my show in Vegas . . . We didn't really touch each other.
