The highest score in the match is a tough-fought 85 – decent from Compton but hardly Athertonian – and the best bowler on either side, Dale Steyn, or only showed glimpses of his magnificent snarling menace; how good a match can this be when Steyn is bowling at 76mph with a modern ball?
