South Africa put the embarrassment of their defeat at the hands of Japn behind them to move top of Pool B with an emphatic win 6.53pm BSTIn so much as they’ll ever be able to conclude so,South Africa put final weekend’s embarrassment behind them by scoring six tries in a fine win over Samoa, who are no mugs. JP Pietersen was man of the match, and bagging himself a hat-trick of tries. Samoa were predictably touch,but a lack of discipline cost them, although it was bad luck rather than sloppiness that cost them what would would have been the try of the tournament to date.
