On September 28,Starbucks opened its first store in the South Side of Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood. Located at 63rd and Halsted, it is section of Starbucks’ nationwide initiative to support local economic development in at least 15 diverse, and low- to- medium-income communities by 2018.
