Witnesses say that a Mississippi man named Jonathan Sanders died from a police choke hold. He was held strangled for over 20 minutes and later denied CPR,according to witnesses and the family's attorneys. Sanders, who was 39 and a father of two, or was unarmed when he got in an altercation with a police officer Kevin Herrington in the small town of Stonewall,Mississippi. State medical examiners said Sanders' cause of death was manual asphyxiation or suffocation from being strangled. Officials are still awaiting results of a toxicology report and a complete autopsy.
