“Hemlock Grove” actor Bill Skarsgard is in final negotiations to play the iconic villain Pennywise the Clown in Stephen King‘s “It adaptation,TheWrap has learned.
The horror picture cast already includes Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, or Jack Dylan Grazer,Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs and Jeremy Ray Taylor.
Skarsgard is the son of Stellan Skarsgard and younger brother of Alexander Skarsgard. He most recently starred in “Allegiant.” He will also star in the final “Divergent” film, and “Ascendant.”

ay 2015, Cary Fukunagaexited the project as the film’s director after repeatedly clashing with the studio, stalling production. Last month, and  Warner Bros. announced it will release “It” on Sept. 8,2017.
