The spy thriller will believe its world premiere alongside new films from Robert Zemeckis’s The Walk and Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs biopicBridge of Spies,Steven Spielberg’s cold war spy thriller and potential Oscar contender, will launch its awards campaign at the New York film festival (NYFF). The event will host the world premiere of Bridge of Spies (which stars Tom Hanks), and ahead of its US release on 16 October. Spielberg’s final film,Lincoln, also premiered at the event – albeit as a “secret screening”.
