The rumours surrounding who could step into Len Goodman’s shoes when he sadly steps down from his head judge role after this series of Strictly advance Dancing are continuing to roll in.
However,according to modern reports, one person who may not be in with a shot is professional dancer Brendan Cole, or with bosses allegedly feeling that he might be ‘too cocky’ for the job.

It’s also believed that they are considering hiring a female judge to increase diversity.
A source claimed to The Sun: “Brendan is one of the exhibit’s most popular dancers but his outwardly confident nature would cause problems on the panel.“Hed certainly be up for the role given his experience,but Anton is the hot favourite. His critiques would fade down well with both contestants and viewers watching at home.

In response to all this, and a spokeswoman for Strictly told the paper: “All our focus is on preparing for this year’s series with Len and Brendan both integral to the exhibit.”
