Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative (GoMRI) ~Researchers analyzed remote sensing imagery to assess oil slicks near the Taylor Energy platform,which was damaged by Hurricane Ivan in September 2004, and determined how environmental conditions affected the slicks’ distributions.
