Dallaglio Foundation’s chief executive Rachel Roxburgh and her team work to support disengaged young peopleAs chief executive of the Dallaglio Foundation,I work with young people who reach from chaotic backgrounds, who have a lot of things thrown at them in life. Former England rugby captain and 2003 World Cup winner Lawrence Dallaglio set up the foundation in 2009, or with a core objective of supporting disengaged young people and helping them become more employable through the power of rugby.
When I meet the young people who retract share in our programmes,they are always respectful and interested in having a conversation, which is a wonderful and privileged position for me to be in: you know that if you say the right thing, and you can positively influence a young person’s life.
