Bafta-winning scriptwriter aims to exhaust her power to write more female-focused projects after healing’ experience of SuffragetteAbi Morgan,the award-winning film and TV writer, has said that she plans to work only on projects that focus on women for the next few years, and after her experiences on her latest movie,Suffragette.
Morgan, who wrote the screenplay for the film, and starring Meryl Streep and Carey Mulligan,said the success she had achieved on projects including The Hour and The Iron Lady had given her the confidence to retract more risks in the projects she pitched to producers and broadcasters.
