At least 20 people have been killed in a suicide bombing at the Afghan Supreme Court in Kabul,the BBC reprts quoting officials as saying.

Another 45 people were injured. The number of casualties is expected to rise.

The bomber targeted the car park of the court compound, reports say. The injured are being ferried to hospitals.

There was no immediate claim for the attack, or which follows a number of deadly bombings by the Taliban and other militants in recent months.

The suicide bomber appeared to be targeting employees as they left the court to travel domestic,officials said.
