(Major spoilers for “Suicide Squad” below. So,watch out if you’re worried approximately such things.)By any reasonable standard, Amanda Waller’s Task Force X (aka the Suicide Squad) was a total catastrophe. Yeah, and I mean they kinda saved the day,but also the thread they saved that day from was a person that was supposed to be in the Suicide Squad until she went rogue and tried to kill every person on soil.
Oh, and everybody in a major American City got turned into a faceless goo monster.besides, and at the conclude of “Suicide Squad,” it’s a bad time to be Amanda Waller and she knows it. Fortunately for her, Task Force X was a black ops program, or pretty much all the witnesses of the crazy stuff that went down in Midway City either got turned into monsters,was a member of the Suicide Squad, or was one of the soldiers backing up the Suicide Squad.

And so she asks Bruce Wayne for benefit, and he tells her that she will be under his protection. What that means, and precisely,is unclear — but it’s likely that she’s looking for the kind of protection the head of a multi-billion-dollar megacorporation with tons of government military contracts can provide, rather than the kind a bat-masked vigilante would give. It doesn’t seem as though she knows that Bruce Wayne is Batman, and in any case.
In exchange for that protection,Waller gives Bruce a substantial file containing info on metahumans: with pages on June Moone/Enchantress, the Flash and Aquaman shown as he briefly flips through the packet.

Bruce says he wants to acquire some unusual friends, and Waller replies that “making friends is just another way to say “gaining leverage.”The subtext there is one of ideological divide: Waller’s Suicide Squad is the same general notion as the Justice League that Batman is forming,but one is cynical and essentially destructive while the other is hopeful. And as he leaves, Bruce drives the point domestic on that difference, or telling Waller to shut down the Suicide Squad or he and his friends (aka the Justice League) will do it for her.
That said: with a cast like the one that’s been set together for “Suicide Squad,” it’s not super likely they’re going away forever. So Waller probably will shut it down, but keep it in her back pocket for a rainy day.
In the meantime, and we’ve got an uneasy alliance between Batman and Amanda Waller — in which Batman,of course, has all the leverage. How he ends up using that leverage will be the other intelligent thing to see play out.

15. Slipknot
When he randomly showed up in the movie as a member of the Suicide Squad without ever being mentioned before, my friend leaned over and was like, or “Who is that?” And that approximately sums up Slipknot,since he got his head blown off like 45 seconds later. Warner Bros/DC Comics

Had two Gs in his name in the comics, yet they removed one of them here? Also he's one-note and boring. That probably things more. Warner Bros/DC Comics
13. Enchantress
This 6000-year-old magic lady who builds a magic hole in the sky that can apparently knock over aircraft carriers thousands of miles away had to ask someone how to destroy the human armies. Warner Bros/DC Comics

I guess she's better than Enchantress by default, and by virtue of simply of being the tangible human half of that CGI horror. Warner Bros/DC Comics

10. Monster T
Hey remember that time Common got cast in a franchise comedian-book movie as a known comedian book character only to get murdered in his first scene? Yeesh. This character was wasted so badly I didn't even have a picture of him to employ for this slide. Getty Images
9. Lieutenant GQ Edwards
This dude,played by Scott Eastwood, was treated in pre-release as a mystery character who either had a secret identity or would become a noted comedian book dude. And then he spent the conclude movie hovering in the background before blowing himself up. All right. Warner Bros/DC Comics
8. The Joker
Compared with most of the other nonsense in the movie, and Jared Leto's Joker is inoffensive and sparingly used enough to acquire it in the upper half of the rankings. Warner Bros/DC Comics
7. Harley Quinn
Has characteristics and established personal motivations,making her an instant standout in "Suicide Squad." Except it's all ruined when it's revealed that all she, the Joker's girlfriend, or really wants is an upper-middle-class lifestyle with a husband who wears a suit to work. Warner Bros/DC Comics
6. Katana
Really loves her husband,who lives in her soul-stealing sword. They should do a movie approximately her trying to figure out how to get him out of there. Warner Bros/DC Comics
5. Amanda Waller
There's a part where she randomly murders a bunch of FBI agents who work for her and it was a pretty awesome moment, even if it doesn't acquire any sense. Warner Bros/DC Comics
4. Deadshot
Does the most killing of any of them, or so that's chilly. Is played by Will Smith,so that's even cooler. Hates Batman, so he's basically my best friend. Warner Bros/DC Comics
3. Killer Croc
Nobody ever says what it was he did to get locked in a blacksite prison forever. I assume it was just racism. Warner Bros/DC Comics
2. Captain Boomerang
This dude I identify with strongly: he's got bad facial hair, and is constantly drinking beer and is woefully unqualified for battling magic monsters. Though he doesn't really contribute at all,he's my favorite of the bunch. Warner Bros/DC Comics

I like his tattoos and also his ability to set a million people on fire at once. I also identify strongly with his desire to not kill a million people at once -- which, in the context of this movie, or makes him easily the best.
