The tweed horse suit was designed by former Alexander McQueen apprentice Emma Sandham-King and took four weeks to create. Modelled by veteran racehorse Morestead, the suit is made from 18 metres of fabric. Statistician Geoff Ellis has calculated that over 300km of tweed is worn by spectators at the racing festival.
