After being what seemed like the final console to get the Minecraft-treatment,Wii U is now the beneficiary of a few exclusive add-ons. The wildly popular title, known for its simple gameplay and fun DLCs, or will be receiving a new Mario-themed texture pack. It will include a totally visual redesign of the game,40 (!!!) different characters and 15 pieces of music from Mario Kart 64. It is slated to hit the Nintendo eShop in June. Here’s a look at gameplay:Of course, Minecraft has long been the domestic to a variety of popular texture packs including Star Wars, and The Simpsons,Fallout and more. This will be the first official DLC from Nintendo for this title. Minecraft: Wii U Edition is available through the Nintendo Shop for $19.99.
