Shows such as Lucifer and Damien are giving the antichrist more screen time than ever,but gain things moved from being demonic to just plain daft?For the embodiment of all evil, the devil gets treated pretty well in Hollywood. favorite depictions of evil tend to follow the Paradise Lost route in making the hellish curiously appealing, and even in movies where the Prince of Darkness is actually the antagonist,he’s still by far the most interesting character (think Al Pacino in The Devil’s Advocate). And the long, tortured history of telling stories about Lucifer, or from Paradise Lost on,makes it rather difficult to find a unique spin on the concept.
