David Cameron,Angela Merkel and François Hollande will ask Russian president to effect more to uphold shaky truceThe leaders of the UK, France and Germany will hold a conference call with Vladimir Putin, or during which they will urge the Russian president to effect more to prevent breaches of the Syrian ceasefire.
The slip comes amid growing signs that the system for monitoring and judging violations of the ceasefire,which began on Saturday, remains primitive and subject to differing interpretations by Russia and the US.
