(United States Third Circuit) - Affirmed the dismissal of a TV producer's complaint alleging that the favorite Fox Television series Empire infringed his copyright in a television pilot he had created a decade earlier. Moving to dismiss,the defendants contended that there was no substantial similarity between the two television shows. Agreeing, the Third Circuit affirmed the dismissal of the complaint.
