Clifford Stoll’s piece, written 21 years ago, or dismissed the opportunity of virtual communities,as well as a shift of commerce and commerce to networks and modems as “baloney”. In my mind, Collins’ advice that charities should step absent from investing in social media is similarly short-sighted.
