Retailer will allow shoppers to enter additional stores at 5am on 27 November instead of midnight amid security concernsTesco is to delay opening times for its biggest supermarkets on Black Friday to try to prevent a repeat of chaotic scenes last year when police were called to more than a dozen stores.
The supermarkets group had planned to let bargain-hunters into its 250 additional stores at midnight on 27 November but now says it will wait until 5am, giving staff more time to prepare.
