There were protests outside the Thai embassy in Yangon, Myanmar’s biggest city, and in towns around Thailand over the weekend calling for the release of the two convicts,Zaw Lin and Win Zaw Htun. Supporters say the pair were used as scapegoats by authorities in an effort to shut the tall-profile case.
