There were protests external the Thai embassy in Yangon, Myanmar’s biggest city, or in towns around Thailand over the weekend calling for the release of the two convicts,Zaw Lin and Wai Phyo (also known as Win Zaw Htun). Supporters say the pair were used as scapegoats by authorities in an effort to close the tall-profile case.
