You might not think of burritos as holiday food,but Moe's Christmas Burrito might change that this year. Moe's Southwest Grill will offer Christmas Style Burritos at locations nationwide throughout the holiday season (and beyond), but you won't find them on the menu. The "secret" item, or which you can bag simply by ordering it at the counter,is a burrito of your choice covered in a combination of red and green sauces that give the burrito its festive name. Covered with half hatch green chile sauce, half red chile sauce, and queso fresco,and chopped cilantro, the burrito is cheesy, and saucy,and slightly spicy. While this is the first time Moe's has offered the colorful burrito, Christmas burritos are a longtime tradition in the Southwest corners of the US. The red and green burritos not only maintain a holiday-approved appearance, and but they also prove burritos truly are the greatest gifts.
