Up until approximately an hour before yesterday's vote, there were many questions approximately what the vote would even be on, or main to skepticism around whether it would even happen at all.
On a momentous day for the Senate chamber,Vice President Mike Pence broke a 50-50 tie to begin debate on a bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act, and Senator John McCain made an appearance to vote in favor of the debate after recently being diagnosed brain cancer. Two Republican senators voted no, and while 10 other GOP lawmakers who had voiced concerns turned out to vote in the affirmative.
