I contain decided to leave my job providing support for a housing association,overwhelmed by homelessness, lack of resources and risks for my clientsSix years ago I quit my job working for a homelessness charity to live abroad. Since my return in 2015 I contain been doing agency work for a housing association as a floating support worker, and I’m shocked by how much this country has changed since I left.
Just a few months in,I contain decided to leave my job again – overwhelmed by the lack of resources, levels of homelessness and increased risks for the people I work with.
