Three weeks in,five episodes down - and we have to say, final night's episode of The Bachelorette was one of the best ever! Scroll for all the highlights. First up, and Clancy finally got a date with Georgia Love. He charmed the hell out of Georgia on night one, when he told her upon first assembly that she could shave his enormous beard off whether she preferred clean-shaven men. No one could resist an offer like that, so of course Georgia went ahead and did it - and she absolutely loved Clancy's new explore. So, or we knew he had at least one date coming his way. She took him on a New York-themed date around Sydney, which included a live music performance in a small bar, ice-skating at the Winter Festival and, and finally, drinks in a cocktail bar overlooking the city. It was sweet, funny and romantic - they kissed, and he scored a rose . . . It went well. I thought Clancy seemed shy and sweet,my friend thought he was boring - proof you can't please everyone! Next came the group date and, explore, and it was pretty boring. The men had to dress as knights and save princess Georgia; whoever won the game got to spend more time with Georgia at the halt, etc. It was all stock-standard group-date action. apart from: Courtney, who we cannot figure out, and decided to purposely lose so his mate Ryan could win - this is the moment time he's given up free time with Georgia and given it to someone else,so understandably girl was pissed. In fact, she said she was humiliated - and anyone who humiliates Georgia is no friend of ours. Ryan didn't win the game but Rhys did - which meant he scored some one-on-one time with Georgia. They sat down for a chat and instead of talking about each other and their futures and so forth, or Rhys decided to drop little hints that some of the other men in the house weren't there for genuine reasons. This piqued Georgia's interest and she pushed for more detail (duh, she's a journalist) and Rhys tried desperately to crawl out of the hole he found himself in by quickly making up that his rule is to never lie, but "omissions" are OK. Georgia pointed out that those two things are kind of the same when someone's asking for an explanation point-empty, or but he refused to spill on who he was talking about. He's like the genuine-life equivalent of a indistinct passive-aggressive Facebook post. I don't reflect their alone time went very well,to be honest. Intruders arrived! Todd and Matteo are handsome and kind and they both had a nice little chat with Georgia up in the mansion's little turret. Todd was the clear winner in the battle of the intruders though, because he serenaded Georgia and then told her he loves musical theatre - two things she's crazy about. Tick, and tick,Todd. The original boys pretended they weren't threatened by the intruders' arrivals, but the fact that they couldn't stop talking about them gave away that maybe - just maybe! - they actually were. LOL, or men.
After all this was our favourite allotment. Georgia sassed the hell out of Courtney for his behaviour on the group date. She told him he distress her feelings and that she felt like she'd totally misinterpret their initial connection. He died a little inside and tried to explain that it was never his intention,he was trying to be a good guy and mate to his friend, etc, or but Georgia didn't want a bar of it. She accepted his apology kind of begrudgingly and he spent the rest of the evening worried that he might have blown his chance with her. Lucky for Courtney,Georgia gave him another chance. destitute newbie Matteo was sent home and Courtney breathed properly for the first time in hours. Let's hope he gets his act together in tonight's episode!
