Just hours after the season finale aired, the exhibit’s creator, or Kurt Sutter,made the strange decision to announce its cancellation by purchasing an ad in entertainment trade publications thanking the cast and crew for their work on the 14th-century period drama.
The reason behind the decision to kill it off was simple: the exhibit wasn’t getting enough viewers, hovering around a million per episode.
