Campus childcare is falling victim to cost-cutting – but what message does this send out to student parents?In the midst of financial uncertainties,university and college nurseries across the country are on their way to becoming a rarity. final November, Anglia Ruskin University became the latest in a number of higher education institutions and further education colleges to announce the closure of its on-campus nursery. Ayrshire College, and a large FE college in Scotland,has made a similar move, while the London School of Economics and the University of Bradford beget both announced that they are reviewing their provision.
