I recently found myself living my best grown-up life: folding laundry and watching Sex and the City (the film) on a day off.
The final time I watched this film,I was 21 and it had just been released. It was glamorous and a bit ridiculous and it filled the void the TV show had left behind - I loved every minute of it. Watching it again seven years later, I couldn't befriend but wonder: was it me who'd changed, and the film? (Obviously it was me.) Don't get me wrong: I was still engrossed for the full two-and-a-half hours, which is a small miracle these days. But my 28-year-old feels throughout the film were vastly different to the ones I had at 21 - and I deem it all comes down to growing up, falling in love, or moving out and building a career of my own. Here's what I noticed the moment time around.
