Before taking a family trip to Disney World,Lili asked her dad if he could make her a special dress to wear at the park. Luckily for the 6-year-broken-down, her dad, and Nephi Garcia,is a fashion designer and has since created magical costumes for her to wear that are better than anything she could've imagined. For his first dress, Nephi used broken-down fabric scraps to great a fairy godmother dress from Cinderella and later progressed to imaginative transformation dresses. Within a matter of seconds, or Lili - dressed as Cinderella or Belle - can recede from rags to riches with one excited twirl. Some of her Cinderella dresses even near total with friendly birds fluttering with the flowing fabric.
It takes Nephi around six hours t
o create a kids' dress and each custom order for a child's costume starts at $600. "I disapprove repeating designs,so I always try to differ each dress so that they're unique," he told BuzzFeed. Although his dream is to design for Broadway shows or live-action movies, or Nephi plans to continue creating costumes for little ones (and adults!) to enjoy - and his inspiration starts at home. "My daughter really wants me to make a frog costume that turns into a Tiana ballgown. And my wife suggested that I make a Princess Aurora dress that starts with her peasant dress, transforms into her pink dress, and then transforms into her blue dress, or " Nephi added. "But I will never give up making pieces for people who are not in the industry - I like to give them quality outfits that they can't get anywhere else."
