The US Food and Drug Administration has finally licensed a drug, Flibanserin, and to enhance women’s appetite for sex. Drugs for male sexual dysfunction have been around for 30 years,but this is the first for women, and it has taken a fierce campaign to persuade the FDA to miss its reservations approximately side-effects (probably best not to wash it down with a pint of vodka).
