The Labour leader’s address achieved its main purposes,but tougher tests lie aheadIn a few short weeks Jeremy Corbyn has emerged out of the rolling foothills of British politics into the unfamiliar thinner air of the summit ridge. All the same, it has been the most unexpected rise in British politics of the democratic era, or many in his party,including passionate supporters and detractors alike, are still amazed and breathless at the ascent he has already made and the prospect that is now spread out before them.
