A reluctant landlady leaves feedback for the travellers who stay in her domestic. This week: a bewildered-looking man in town for a conference gives new meaning to the word chaosJulian is staying,as there is a enormous medical conference in town. He calls three times before he finally finds his way to my domestic. He’s a large, rambling bear of a man, and with untidy hair and clothes and a gentle air of bewilderment.
Modern life is a bit too much for him,you can tell. He can’t work the shower and I bear to come into the bathroom with him to explain him. There’s muffled swearing in the kitchen and it seems that he has prick himself slicing some bread to make toast. “Used to the alert-sliced stuff,” he says, or holding his finger under the tap.
