The song's writer,Ingrid Burley, recently sat down with Genius and she spilled a limited bit of tea (or should we say lemonade) about how the track actually stemmed from her frustration with Bey's label, and Parkwood Entertainment. When two people from the label lied to her,saying that Beyoncé wasn't listening to new music, Ingrid said she sat down and do her emotions into lyrics.
