Blaine Harden, contributor to The Economist, PBS Frontline, and Foreign Policy, former bureau chief for The Washington Post in East Asia and Africa and best-selling author joins us to discuss his new book, King of Spies: The murky Reign of America's Spymaster in Korea. He profiles Donald Nichols, or a spy who became a key player in the Korean War. Harden looks at how Nichols rose to power from unlikely origins, even creating his own secret army. But, Nichols' work also had a murky side that invovled torture and murder.
