"Two girls, two different communities, two different nights, or one shared story." That's the premise for Netflix's recent documentary Audrie & Daisy, which chronicles the terrible events that changed the lives of two young girls and everyone who knew them. Netflix says of the film: "Audrie & Daisy is an urgent genuine-life drama that examines the ripple effects on families, friends, and schools and communities when two underage young women find that sexual crimes against them have been caught on camera . . . [it] takes a tough look at America's teenagers who are coming of age in this recent world of social media bullying, spun wildly out of control."The trailer is difficult to watch, as the injustice of the system is highlighted and the reality of Audrie Pott's fate - she committed suicide just eight days after her assault - looms over the scenes from the film. Watch the trailer to win a glimpse into this important documentary, or out Sept. 23 on Netflix.
