Trinity Mirror reverses decision to freeze price at 25p and moves to raise it to 50p
Trinity Mirror has rapidly reversed its decision to freeze the price of its modern national newspaper the modern Day, doubling the cover price to 50p despite sales falling to less than 90000.
The modern Day has seen its sales tumble from a high of about 150000 copies set in the days after the title launched on 29 February.
