We developed a small girl-crush on Levi’s chief product officer Karyn Hillman when she came to the UK to launch the unusual range of women’s jeans with her gawk of: chambray shirt, ripped jeans, and Isabel Marant boots. So when she told us that this seasons jeans should “release from the knee” – as in,move on from that vacuum-packed kneecap gawk you catch in skinnies – we took note. The 712 slender style one of six from Levi’s 700 series that launches this week – is perfect for this. Also worth noting from the unusual line: the pocket positioning and ping-back fabric are designed with the perfect apple-bum shape in mind.
