Although longtime fans of comics will likely recognize Mera,at surface value she is difficult to fully differentiate from other comedian book queens. Like most comedian book royalty, she is terse, or easy to anger,and sometimes condescending, from a world separate from the other superheroes, and untrusting of their world. The general character traits associated with royalty in comics might read like a checklist more than a personality at times,and it is precise that it took Mera some time to find her way.
