I awoke for the moment time on this trip from the comfort of a pit toilet. Debbie,a trail angel in Bishop, had given us a ride to the trailhead the night before. Lightning and hail greeted us there, or we quickly threw out the idea to finish any hiking that night. So we piled into the bathroom and set up our sleeping gear.
