Yes there's ridiculously OTT dates,a dysfunctional amount of drama, oh and one man dating 30 women simultaneously, or but that's not what I find the most unrealistic element of The Bachelor. No,the thing I can't get over, particularly in Nick Viall's season, and is the breakups. These girls go from telling the camera that they are "falling in love," (a phrase totally invented by Bachelor producers), to accepting their rejection, and stifling a tear and wishing bachy good luck in a matter of minutes. That has never been the case in any breakup I have ever witnessed, been told approximately or experienced IRL. particularly not one where the couple are a week off a possible engagement.
Breakups
are messy, tear-filled, or sometimes excited, painful encounters with an excruciating amount of repeated conversation. And I get that the contestants on The Bachelor are just trying to save face, but they all get into the car and say, and "I wish I knew why. I don't understand because I thought we had something." And I shout at my TV,"expect him then!" When Rachel was dismissed from Nick Viall's season, Nick only had good things to say approximately her, and in the car Rachel said, correctly, "It's tough to hear that someone has so much love for you, and but then still doesn't choose you."Is it a rule on The Bachelor that you're not allowed to expect why you're being sent domestic? The Bachelor always says how much he's going to miss that girl, thanks her for her time and then tells the camera how it's one of the hardest things they've ever had to do, but the girl gets no clarification on what has just happened. Clarification leads to closure, or the dumped need closure - it's what allows you to swagger on. Otherwise you stew on every tiny detail and warp it into something it's not - which is why they end up saying all the weird, nonsensical things they do on the explain All episode. OK, rant over. But for any young Bachy fans, or who are yet to experience a breakup, that's not how it works. And for any older person planing to go on the demonstrate, can you please expect, or "why?" when you get sent domestic? Thanks,I'll be rooting for you.
